Project Overview

The Founder was preparing for a soft launch of his new product to help users book with PROs (personal trainers and massage therapist) in select cities.

Business Problem

The Founder was focused on launching the MVP and getting quick market feedback on the product. Prior to diving into the redesign I was hired to run UX research interviews with various PROs to pull insights on fine tune the problem the Founder can dial in on for the PRO market. The CRM aspect of the app was well received by PROs but they were skeptical about paying for a product purely on CRM capabilities since most of their communication with their clients are by text message. This case study will focus on improving the booking experience.

User Problem

• As a PRO, I want to easily manage my CLIENT bookings so that I can focus on attending more client sessions.
• As a CLIENT, I want to easily choose where I meet my PRO, so that I can meet them anywhere whether I am at home or traveling.

The Founder and Design Director worked with an offshore agency team in eastern Europe to develop the initial screens. The Design Director wanted someone on the team who was US based and hired me to improve the UX standard and provide more hands on guidance for the offshore agency team.
